It's so hard to believe that my baby is 2. She's no longer a baby. She's.....a toddler. Even as I type the word, I shudder. She's not supposed to grow up!! She's supposed to stay small and sweet and dependent on me for everything!! I guess that's not the way God designed it. After all, if it were, I would have never let go of my mama and gone on to meet my wonderful husband and have the most wonderful blessing imaginable....my toddler, Claire.
I could go on and on and on about how much I love her, how perfect and beautiful and smart she is, and all of the funny things she does. But to save your time and sanity, I can sum it up like this: God knows me so much better than I know myself. He knows exactly what I need, and when I need it. He is such a loving, creative God that he finds ways to use a small voice and mischievous smile to make my life perfect---so much more perfect that I could have ever imagined. I couldn't ask for anything more. I can't wait to keep watching her grow--to see what He has planned for her life.
